A Sound Journey 聲遊記

Three site-specific Ambisonics installations derived from the architecture of Ito Toyo's National Taichung Theater, each sonifying a distinct spatial condition.三件源自伊東豊雄「臺中國家歌劇院」建築空間特性的場域特定聲響裝置，將不同的空間狀態轉譯為聽覺體驗。

Sound Artist Olifa Hsieh, in cooperation with fifteen choristers of Taichung Artist Chamber Choir, staged an experiment of vocal sounds in the National Taichung Theater. The work constitutes a triplet of immersive sound installations, each derived from the spatial acoustics and circulation of a specific zone within Ito Toyo's biomorphic architecture.「我們透過身體感知，而非意識，來獲取空間本身的知識；每個人的身體都是世界的中心點。」——梅洛-龐蒂

聲音藝術家謝瀞瑩與台中藝術家室內合唱團的十五位歌手合作，於臺中國家歌劇院展開了一場人聲聲音實驗。這部作品由三個沉浸式聲音裝置構成，每個裝置皆從伊東豊雄仿生建築內特定區域的空間聲學與動線中汲取靈感轉化而成。

Concept & Background作品概念與論述

Installation I — "Sound" (TuTu Gallery, 5F): Ambisonics immersive audio simulates a "misty valley" where vision is blurred and hearing becomes the primary spatial organ.

Installation II — "Tour" (Spiral Staircase, 2F–5F): Multiple suspended sound boxes simulate forest environments; visitors experience sonic transformation through continuous vertical movement.

Installation III — "Memory" (2F Foyer Corridor): An acousto-optical interactive device — body gestures trigger projected images narrating memories of Taichung city.裝置一 ——「聲」(位於5F凸凸廳)：運用 Ambisonics 沉浸式音響技術模擬「迷霧山谷」，視覺在此變得模糊，聽覺成為主要的空間感知器官。

裝置二 ——「遊」(位於2F–5F迴旋樓梯)：懸掛的多聲道音箱網絡模擬如同森林般的聲響環境，觀眾在垂直移動中體驗聲音的連續變化。

裝置三 ——「記」(位於2F長廊)：這是一組聲光互動裝置，身體的姿態能觸發影像投影，講述著與台中這座城市相關的記憶。
